The OurTvSpace “New Media Fellow” Program for Writers is calling for entries starting April 15, 2009!

Entries Close:   August 15, 2009

Applicants Must Submit the Following to OurTvSpace, LLC in order to be considered:

  1. Completed New Media Fellow Entry Form, including:
    1. Cover page with name, address, script title;
    2. A copy of writing sample (screenplay, teleplay, web series script, or graphic novel);
    3. A copy of your resume or bio;
    4. Application fee ($30.00 if postmarked by June 15, 2009; $40.00 if postmarked between June 16 and July 15, 2009; $60.00 if postmarked between July 16 and August 15, 2009)
  2. Completed Submission Release Form.

Applications may be submitted electronically or by U.S. mail or other delivery service.

From the Applicants, 10 finalists will be selected. The Selection Committee (comprised of Industry Professionals) will select 1 “New Media Fellow” from the Finalists.   The OurTvSpace New Media Fellow will be notified by September 1, 2009.

The OurTvSpace New Media Fellow will:

  • Receive a Total Stipend of $10,000 from OurTvSpace to help cover his or her living expenses during the fellowship period (September 15, 2009 through January 15, 2010)!
  • Collaborate with the team at OurTvSpace to develop and write a 20 episode web (some travel and lodging will be required; expenses will be covered by OurTvSpace, LLC)!
  • Upon completion of fellowship - be considered for agency representation by Brandon Martinez - a New Media Agent at the prestigious Abrams Artists Agency!
  • Enjoy the opportunity of having their completed web series script produced and distributed by OurTvSpace!
